The Graduate School Student Organization
The Graduate School Student Organization serves in the interest of the graduate students by having intelligent means of communication with the Graduate School, constructive co-operations with companies and alumni, in addition to different kinds of social events. The GSO shall be a natural part of a flourishing network for the students at the Graduate School.
Being an exceptionally international and multi-cultural organization, the vision of GSO is to create a sense of community among all students academically, professionally as well as socially. GSO aims at being an organization that all the students at Graduate School can identify themselves with and feels part of.
GSO is run by Graduate Students. Neither the board nor the sub-group members are paid, and the involvement in the organization is on voluntary basis. All interested students are encouraged to contribute to the GSO in one way or another. Nevertheless, GSO has a professional and serious attitude in all activities and projects that it carries through.
GSO works on numerous frontiers where education monitoring, social events, sports events, web presence, and company relations activities are the most accentuated.
Since 2008 GSO is a part of the student association at the School of business, economics and law at Gothenburg University.
