Societies and projects
In addition to its members the student association consists of over forty societies and projects. The societies cover most interests, from dance and sports to parties and stock broking. The societies exist in order for the students to get the most out of their time at the School of business, economics and law. The association thinks that it’s important to give our students a practical chance to convey the theory they’ve learnt into practice. Our projects, which include our labor days such as GADDEN and reKON, exist for this reason - to give our students a chance to start and be a part of a business like enterprise and network with the business world.
GADDEN
GADDEN is a project with the purpose of creating a platform of interaction between students and companies. It is the largest single project at the School of Business, Economics and Law in Gothenburg. GADDEN offers a great opportunity for students to meet future employers in an inspiring and casual way. The fair is unique in targeting students in the field of economics, law, environmental science and logistics and is the largest of its kind in the Scandinavian countries. We welcome you to take part of the GADDEN experience this coming fall, 11th and 12th of November.

REKON – Auditing- and Consultingfair
Rekon is a fair, run by and for, students who has an interest in a future within the auditing and consulting area. This year the fair went off on the 18th of February in “Handelsrätten” together with 13 exhibitors. Throughout the day students were given opportunity to talk with the exhibiting companies and if you applied in advance there were also possible to arrange a personal meeting with some of the companies taking part. During the evening we arranged a banquet where students got an extra opportunity to fraternize with the companies under more relaxed conditions.

Bolagsstämmorna
Bolagsstämmorna is HHGS’ very own amazing choir. Bolagsstämmorna consists of 45 men and women who sing everything from rock to gospel and get together once a week to practice. We perform at different kinds of events, from private parties to traditional holidays, and at the end of each semester we hold our own big concert. One weekend during the semester we also go away together to sing and get to know each other even better. If you want to hire us for a party or any other kind of event you are welcome to contact us.

The Golf society
The Golf society hosts a prestigous 18-hole golf tournament every year in May. The event is held at one of Gothenburgs best courses, and last year SEB was the Head sponsor. Handels Open, as the tournament is called, is a great way of getting to know company representatives, and also a great opportunity to play golf at an affordable rate. The Golf society therefore encourages all golfers at Handels to compete for the trophy and becoming “Handels #1 golfer”.

HKN - Handels Kvinnliga Nätverk: Is a female network at Handelshögskolan with the objective to motive, engage and assist women on their way out into the professional arena. We aspire to be a link between the professional world and student life for all female students by arranging inspiring
speaking events, diverse activities with businesses in the community, etc. Our upcoming event is to run the “Vårruset” or “Spring run” together with female leaders from a professional environment. Misstagen
We are a group of artists who do what we can to enrich the souls of poor, culturally molested students with the tools of classic dance in our hands. Almost 20 years ago a group of people realised that the threat of the culture killing music channel MTV was about to strike Sweden and decided to do something about it. About the same time the proud organisation “The Misstakes” was founded by a group of soul searchers and what they found was buried deep within the organisation. Many of the dances preformed by handsome men are well rehearsed, some are not but what is always guaranteed when the mistakes decide to give a sample of their excellence is true feelings and cultural enlightenment.
Mistlåhren
Mistlåhren is the female ballet at the School of Business, Economics and Law. Even since 1976 we have loved to entertain everybody with dance and high kick lines.
There is always something fun to do with Mistlåhren. We organize events with Mistluhren and Misstagen. We practice once every week, have several of recitals every year, travel together and other fun stuff.
We dance on dinner parties and company events. We also go on band festivals, training camps, ski trips and parties.
Do you want to network with nice girls that like to perform? No former knowledge of dance is necessary. There is also possibilities to participate in other ways in the society, as president and financial or information manager.

Tre Ess
Tre ess, part of a Swedish tradition, makes for a unique student body experience at Handelshögskolan. During our activities we gear up in overalls and partake in sittings, partying and general carousing.
