The executive board
The student assotiation, is coordinated by the Executive board. They make all the short term decisions and operate the running activities within HHGS. They have weekly meetings where the upcoming activities are planned.
The Executive board consists of seven heads of committee and the presidium, which consists of the president and the vice president.
President of the Student Association
The president of HHGS represents the student association towards the school, alumni’s and other Swedish student associations. Together with the vice president the president leads and supports the Executive Board. The president is the employer of HHGS two employees.

Vice President of the Student Association
The vice president is responsible for the student associations’ internal relations and structure as well as the executive board. This also includes nurturing relations with the other student associations in Gothenburg. On a daily basis the vice president is responsible of planning and acting as chairman for the executive board meetings. The vice president also act as a substitute should anything prevent the president from attending his/her responsibilities.

Head of the Committee on Education
The head of the committee on educations chairman is responsible for furthering the quality of the education as well as represent the student interests at the School of business of economics, business and law. The post includes everything from representing the students at the schools boards and committees to help the students with individual problems. This includes everything from helping out with reviews of decisions to pointing out where to find information relevant to the students’ education. To lend a helping hand the head has the committee on education with its representatives from the different program societies.

Head of the Committee on Student Politics and Student Society
The most obvious task for SU is to have regular contact with all the societies within HHGS. It could be questions regarding the startup of a new society, regular meetings with the presidents of the program societies and arranging HHGS Day, Funkraggen and the Hagbard Conference.
SU is also a member of the board of The Association of Student Unions in Göteborg (GFS). GFS coordinates activities and is also a socio-political lobbying organization. GFS owns Fysiken (fitness centre) and Akademihälsan (Student health centre). SU also meets with the politicians in Gothenburg and local business at Studentforum.

Head of the Committee on Business Relations
The committee on business relations is a unit whose main task is to bring students and the surrounding business agents together into a common marketplace. The goal is to secure the communication between students and commercial agents and increase the opportunities for students to extend their business networks.

Head of the Committtee on Events
The main responsibilities for the Head of Events contains of the work to satisfy all the students preferences when it comes to arrangements and entertainment besides the studies. Most time is spent to improve and expand the activities in Handelspuben, but also the overall responsibility for the freshmanweeks and Walpurgis is included in the Committee of Events.

Head of the Marketing Committee
Administrating HHGS information channels is the main responsibility. The head of the Marketing Committee should also be available for the student societies who would like to market themselves by using the student union's information channels.

The International Committee works to make the stay of the exchange students at The School of Business, Economics and Law an unforgettable experience and at the same time increase the communication between Swedish and Exchange students. Head of the Administration Committee
The Head of the Administration Committee has as a general mission to be the caretaker and overseer of the student unions premises and effects. He works primarily internally inside the student union to make sure its societies and projects has the necessary space to work and store in.
