Why should I become a member of HHGS?

By becoming a member you send a signal to our school that you believe that the students’ voice is important. The more members we have, the easier it gets for us to conduct good education monitoring that the school takes seriously. Your membership fee helps us to pay for this extremely important mission that we have, meaning that you as a member helps us make sure that our school will stay a top school even in the future.

Through your membership a whole world of possibilities will be yours to use. All our societies and projects are there for you to explore!

Your membership is also you ticket to get access to our very own pub, Handelspuben. Come and meet likeminded people while enjoying the nice atmosphere and the good prices.

As a member you will also get access to a number of discounts and good deals. Or how about student discount at the gym Fysiken and great deals at the electronic device store SIBA, just to mention a few things.

• Inspiring guest lectures with famous companies.
• The possibility to practice the skills you learn in school by applying for one of our own companies.
• Inspiration and networking for your future working life through our work fairs GADDEN, GAIUS, REKON and Utblick.
• The possibility to keep your hobbies alive through your student years by becoming a member in one of our societies.
• Getting hands-on experience of what it is like to be in charge of an organisation by becoming engaged in for example the Board of HHGS.

How do I Become a Member of HHGS?

There are two main ways in which to become a member of HHGS:

1. Visit our reception. Our receptionist Bego Franco will help you and you can by card. While you are there, take the opportunity to get up-to-date information on what is going on right now, as well as what discounts etcetera you get as a member.
2. Pay on the internet. See below.

The membership fee differs a bit depending on whether you become a member for only one semester, or if you choose to sign up for an entire year. One semester costs 120 SEK, while as a full-year membership costs 200 SEK.
