Vice President

As the Vice President of HHGS you, together with the President, have the overall responsibility for the whole association. This makes the job extremely varied, spanning from representing HHGS at official events and being a member of different boards, to write policies and work with different project.

Except being the stand-in for the President of HHGS, the Vice President also has its own fields of responsibility. So for example am I a board member of the two joint committees that exist for the student associations in Gothenburg; GUS and GFS. I am also responsible for maintaining and developing the bonds that HHGS have with other student associations.

In addition to this, I am the one in charge of different administrative roles within the Executive Board, such as budgets and internal meetings.

This year I have chosen to put extra focus on a specific project, namely to develop the so-called HHGS Catalogue, aimed at increasing the awareness of what the student association has to offer its members. This clearly shows that being the Vice President not only means taking care of tasks decided beforehand, but more that the possibilities in doing this job are endless. You get to meet interesting people, and to be able to be a part of the further development of HHGS and help its members out is extremely inspiring.
